At SafePorter we consider your privacy to be of paramount importance. Your trust and privacy are the most essential aspects of everything we do, and we are committed to providing you with meaningful choices with respect to the information we collect from or about you.

California enacted the California Consumer Privacy Act ( “CCPA”) concerning the processing and use of California consumers’ data. The CCPA provides California residents with certain rights with respect to their personal information, including the right to opt out of certain transfers or disclosures of personal information as explained below. 

 

California’s definition of “sale” is expansive and includes transfers that would not traditionally be considered as a “sale” in the traditional sense of the word.  California "consumers" are given the right to opt out of the "sale" of their personal information.

• SafePorter ( and DataProtected by SafePorter) collects information from or about you, including personal information, when you complete surveys or use our services as described in our Privacy Policy. If you are a survey respondent or registered user of DataProtected, we may disclose certain information we collect about you for purposes that may be considered a “sale” under the CCPA. For example, though we only provide aggregate survey respondent information to our clients, this is information that relates to you and includes your responses in the aggregated data; it is provided to give them insight into how best to refine their equity, diversity, inclusion and corporate social responsibility programs.

• We do not engage advertising partners, advertising technology companies, or companies that perform advertising-related services based upon your engagement with our sites or the personal information of any individual.

• Under the CCPA, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information. Survey respondents, whose identity we are unable to otherwise verify, can assert this right through Opt Out requests that have been identity verified by the SafePorter client  who made the survey available.

• If you are not a survey respondent or registered user of the DataProtected services, we have very limited information about you and do not “sell” your information as described above. However, you have choices regarding how third parties may collect and use data about you from the DataProtected services as described below.
